Funding is channeled through 14 Regional Youth Forums and 121 Constituency Youth Forums, ensuring equitable access across all regions. Each Regional Forum receives N$20,000, while each Constituency Forum receives N$25,000 to support local youth projects.
The NYDF supports a wide range of youth-led initiatives in sectors such as entrepreneurship, innovation, agriculture, technology, education, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment. The goal is to promote inclusive growth and local impact.
The Fund is open to Namibian youth between the ages of 18 and 35, including individuals, youth groups, and registered youth organisations with viable projects that contribute to community development, innovation, or entrepreneurship.
The NYDF is a flagship initiative by the Government of Namibia, implemented through the National Youth Council of Namibia (NYC). It provides financial and technical support to youth-led projects across all regions, helping young people turn their ideas into impactful, sustainable ventures.
